SSB TGT Recruitment 2024 : The State Selection Board (SSB) has come up with teaching vacancies for candidates who have been looking forward to teaching careers in Odisha state. A short SSB Odisha Teacher Notification 2024 has been released on 31st December 2023 depicting the online registration dates and number of vacancies. The complete details regarding the SSB Odisha Recruitment 2024 for 2064 Teaching posts will be released by 8th January 2024 at the official website www.ssbodisha.ac.in. As mentioned in the short notice, the online registration process will be carried out from 8th January 2024 (1 pm) to 7th February 2024 (11:45 pm).

TGT ARTS
Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Commerce or a Shastri (Sanskrit) Degree from a recognized
University with two school subjects (School subjects as defined in the proviso hereunder) from a recognized University having 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PWD/SEBC candidates) AND Bachelor in Education (B.Ed. / 3 years integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. from any NCTE recognized institution. OR
Four-years lntegrated B.A. B.Ed. from any NCTE recognized lnstitution with two schoo[
subjects (school subjects as defined in the proviso hereunder) having 50% marks in aggregate (45% f or SC/ST/PWD/SEBC candidates)
TGT PCM/CBZ
Bachelor’s Degree in Science / B.Tech / B.E with two school subjects (school subjects
as defined in the proviso hereunder) from a recognized University having 50% marks in
aggregate (45%for SC/ST/PWD/SEBC candidates) AND Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) / 3 years integrated B.Ed. – M.Ed. from any NCTE recognized institution. OR

SANSKRIT TEACHER
Bachelor’s Degree with Sanskrit as one of the Elective/ Optional/ Hons. /Pass
subjects from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45%
for SC/ST/PWD/SEBC Candidates) and Shiksha Shashtri (Sanskrit), a course prescribed by NCTE, from a recognized University / Institution / B.Ed. from any NCTE recognized Institution. OR
Shashtri in Sanskrit with minimum 50% of marks in aggregate (45% for
SC/ST/PWD/SEBC Candidates) from a recognized University / institution.
and Shiksha Shastri (Sanskrit), a course prescribed by NCTE from a recognized
University /Institution / B.Ed. from any NCTE recognized Institution.
HINDI TEACHER
Bachelor’s Degree with Hindi as one of the Elective/ Optional/ Hons. / Pass subjects
from a recognized University with minimum 50y” marks in aggregate (45% for
SC/ST/SEBC/ PwD Candidates) and B.Ed. in Hindi/ B.H.Ed/ Hindi Sikshan Paranga. OR
Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks
in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/SEBC/PwD candidates) with Rastrabhasa Ratna/ Shastri (Hindi)/ Snataka.
URDU TEACHER
Alim/ Fazil with 50% marks in aggregate (45% f or SC/ST/SEBC/PwD Candidates) and B.Ed / Urdu B.Ed. from any NCTE recognized University/Institution. OR
B.A. (Persian) with 50% marks in aggregate (45y” for SC/ST/SEBC/PwD Candidates) and B.Ed / Urdu B.Ed. from any NCTE recognized University/Institution.
P.E.T.
+2 or its equivalent examination from a recognized Institution and C. P. Ed. / D. P. Ed. / B. P. Ed. /M. P. Ed from a recognized Board/ University.
- N.B : Must have passed Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test (OSSTET) in concerned category and concerned subject conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha.
- Candidates who have applied for OSSTET-2023 may apply quoting BSE
Application No. /Registration No. Their candidature shall be accepted subject to
passing of OSSTET in same subject and same category. They will have to produce
OSSTET certificate before document verification to be eligibility for selection.

SSB Odisha TGT SELECTION PROCESS
The selection shall be on the basis of a Written Test only. The Written Test will
carry full marks of 150 and Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQ with be set. The duration of the test will be of two hours. The questions will be based on model syllabus to be
uploaded in SSB website. The questions are to be answered in carbonless OMR Answer
Sheets. There shall be 100 Questions having equal weightage. White for each right
answer, 1.5 marks will be awarded, for each wrong answer there will be negative
marking of 0.5 mark.
