EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
| CATEGORY-1 (For Classes I to V) |
Higher Secondary (+2) or its equivalent with at least 50% marks (45% Marks for SEBC/SC/ST/PwD Candidates) and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR Higher Secondary (+2) or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and 4-year Diploma in Elementary Education ( B.El.Ed.) OR Higher Secondary (+2) or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) OR Graduation and two-year Diploma in Elementary Education AND Pass in the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test- I (OTET- I) |

Graduation and two-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR Graduation with at least 50% marks (45% Marks for SEBC/SC/ST/PwD Candidates) and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) OR Higher Secondary (+2) or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) OR Higher Secondary (+2) or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and 4-year B. A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed. OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1-year B.Ed (Special Education) AND Pass in the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test- II (OTET- II) |
SALARY
- The remuneration of the Junior Teacher (Schematic) is Rs. 11,100/- per month excluding EPF of employer share.
- The Junior Teacher (schematic) will be eligible to be a Junior Teacher after three years of continuous and satisfactory service and the remuneration will be Rs.13,800/- excluding EPF of employer share
- A Junior Teacher after three years of continuous and satisfactory service will be appointed as regular Elementary teacher through absorption in the Elementary cadre and the salary will be Rs.23,600/- and D.A., HRA and other allowances as admissible per month.
