EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

CATEGORY-1 (For Classes I to V)

Higher Secondary (+2) or its equivalent with at least 50% marks (45% Marks for SEBC/SC/ST/PwD Candidates) and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR

Higher Secondary (+2) or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and 4-year Diploma in Elementary Education ( B.El.Ed.) OR

Higher Secondary (+2) or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) OR

Graduation and two-year Diploma in Elementary Education

AND

Pass in the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test- I (OTET- I)

CATEGORY-2 (For Classes VI to VIII)

Graduation and two-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR

Graduation with at least 50% marks (45% Marks for SEBC/SC/ST/PwD Candidates) and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) OR

Higher Secondary (+2) or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) OR

Higher Secondary (+2) or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and 4-year B. A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed. OR

Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1-year B.Ed (Special Education)

AND

Pass in the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test- II (OTET- II)
