- Candidates registering for AFCAT entry will have to pay an amount of Rs. 550/- + GST (non-refundable) (not applicable for NCC special entry) as an examination fee.
AGE LIMIT : Indian Air Force Recruitment 2023
Candidates Should Meet the Age Limit (As on 01-01-2025) For Indian Air Force Recruitment 2023.
(i) Flying Branch : Applicant age should be at least 20 years and the upper age is capped at 24 years for flying branch. The upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable up to 26 years. The candidates must have been born between 02/01/2001 to 01/01/2005.
(ii) Ground Duty (Technical/Non-Technical) Branches : For ground duty, the minimum age is 20 years and the upper age limit is capped at 26 years. The candidate must have born between 02/01/1999 to 01/01/2005.
Indian Air Force Recruitment 2023 : EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
Flying branch : Minimum 50% marks each in physics and mathematics at 10+2 level and a three-year graduation degree OR a BE/BTech degree with a minimum of 60% from a recognized university.
AFCAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria for Ground Duty (Technical)Branch:
(i)Aeronautical engineering (Electronics) : Minimum 60% marks each in physics and mathematics at 10+2 level and a degree in graduation/post-graduation in the field of engineering and technology from a recognized university.
(ii) Aeronautical Engineer (Mechanical) : Minimum 60% marks each in physics and mathematics at 10+2 level and a degree in graduation/post-graduation in the field of engineering and technology from a recognized university.
AFCAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria for Ground Duty (Non-Technical) Branche :
(i) Administration : Graduate degree with a minimum of 60% marks with a three-year degree course from a recognized university OR should have cleared section A & B examination with a minimum of 60%.
(ii) Weapon System Branch : Must have cleared 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks each in Maths and Physics & Must have graduated from a recognized university.
Indian Air Force Recruitment 2023 : SALARY
- Based on the official notification of Indian Air Force Recruitment 2023, the candidates who are chosen will be provided a monthly remuneration of level 10 of the pay matrix i.e. between Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500.
