OSSSC SSD Teacher Recruitment 2024 Syllabus Exam Pattern 

The OSSSC SSD Teacher Selection Process comprises two stages, i.e. Paper- I & Paper- II

Plan of Written Test for All categories of post :(Paper-I)

Full Mark : 100 Marks

No. Of Questions : 100 

Duration : 90 Minutes

Question Type : MCQ 

Exam Mode : OMR/ CBRT Mode

OSSSC SSD Teacher Recruitment 2024 Syllabus Subjects : 

Paper-I is compulsory for all the aforesaid posts. The level of questions for the Written Test will be up to +2 standard.

01. General Knowledge, Current affairs

02. Arithmetic

03. Reasoning ability

04. English

05. Computer literacy

06. Pedagogy, educational management, policy and evaluation.

Plan of Written Test (Paper-II)

Full Mark : 100 Marks

No. Of Questions : 100 

Duration : 90 Minutes

Question Type : MCQ 

Exam Mode : OMR/ CBRT Mode

Subjects : 

The standard of questions for TGT Arts, TGT Science(PCM), TGT Science(CBZ), Hindi Teacher, Sanskrit Teacher will be up to graduation level.

In case of PET. Sevak/Sevika and Tribal Language Teachers, the level of questions will be up to +2 standard.

01. Sevak/Sevika/ TLTs : Pedagogy in English, Odia, Mathematics & Environmental Studies. 

02. TGT Arts : Odia, English, History, Geography, Pol. Science & Economics

03. TGT Science- PCM : Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics

04. 03. TGT Science- CBZ : Chemistry Botany & Zoology

05. Hindi Teacher : Hindi

06. Sanskrit Teacher : Sanskrit 

07. PET : Physical Education

Negative marking

  • There shall be negative marking in the Written Test.
  • There are four alternatives for the answers to every question. For each question
    for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one-third (0.33) of
    the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.
  • If a candidate gives more than one answer, it will be treated as a wrong answer
    even if one of the given answers happen to be correct and there will be same
    penalty as above for the question.
  • If a question is left blank, i.e., no answer is given by the candidate, there will be
    no penalty for that question.

Minimum Qualifying Marks

In the Written Test, the minimum qualifying marks for SEBC, ST, SC, PwD, Ex-Servicemen and Sportsperson category of candidates shall be 30% in each paper individually and the minimum qualifying marks for candidates other than SEBC, ST, SC, PwD, Ex-Servicemen and Sportsperson category, shall be 35% in each paper individually.
