AGE LIMIT
Candidates Should Meet the Age Limit (As on 01-08-2024) For SSC CHSL 2024.
- Minimum Age Limit : 18 Years
- Maximum Age Limit : 27 Years
- Candidates born not before 02-08-1997 and not later than 01-08-2006 are eligible to apply.
- Upper Age Relaxation is Applicable As Per Govt Rules.
SSC CHSL 2024 EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
- For LDC/JSA and DEO/DEO Grade ‘A’ (except DEOs in Department/ Ministry) : The candidates who are planning to appear in the CHSL 2024 exam must have passed the 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
- For Data Entry Operator (DEO)/ DEO Grade ‘A’ in Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution and Ministry of Culture) : 12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.
SALARY
The salary structure for different posts under the SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level exam is given below:

SSC CHSL Recruitment 2024 SELECTION PROCESS
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) starts conducting the Combined Higher Secondary Level(CHSL) in two levels for various posts :

Before beginning the SSC CHSL preparation, it is important to make note of changes in the exam pattern and syllabus.
- SSC CHSL 2024 Tier 1 exam will be conducted in online mode.
- Introduction of a descriptive paper of 100 marks within 60 minutes in pen and paper mode.
- Reduction in the time limit for examination of Tier -I from 75 minutes to 60 minutes.
- Tier II will include Objective Multiple Choice + Skill Test & Typing Test.
This is an objective exam that will be conducted online. There are 4 sections in the Tier 1 exam of SSC CHSL Exam, with 100 questions that account for a total of 200 marks. The subject-wise details are given below:
